At McClure Veterinary Clinic, we highly recommend that all pets get microchipped. Each year, thousands of pets go missing, and many don’t make it back home. Your pet needs a permanent form of identification that is reliable and can’t get lost, stolen, or damaged. A microchip is a safe, simple form of identification that can significantly increase the chance that your pet will return safely in the unfortunate event they get lost.

Over the last 5 years we have been using PetLink by Datamars. Petlink has a lifetime registration, which means there is no yearly membership fee. Once your microchip has been placed, we will have you fill out the registration form and our office manager will register your information into the database. Once that is complete you will be able to log on and edit your and your pet’s information whenever you need to.
