Beth

Head Veterinary Technician

Beth is our head technician; she is certified in Ultrasound and Echo. She has been with McClure Veterinary Clinic since its opening in October 2017. Beth’s first job was with Dr. Tedd Hamaker, the original owner of GVV, until his passing.

Beth is a very knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring technician with over 22 years of solid experience. Animals naturally gravitate to her as she always has a way of putting them at ease. Some of Beth’s hobbies include dancing, playing guitar, working out, fishing, and hunting.

Beth’s wing-pup is Maple, they go everywhere together. Maple can be seen riding shotgun cruising around in Beth’s car picking up chicks. They like to go out and play in the woods or just enjoy the outdoors.

A fun fact about Beth is that she knows her self-worth and won’t accept anything else.

Amanda

Office Manager

Amanda is our Office Manager; she is always willing to help with any aspect of the clinic. Amanda has been with McClure Veterinary Clinic since January 2018. She has been in the veterinary field for 20 years, and has been both a veterinary receptionist and a veterinary technician.

Amanda’s love for animals has been life-long. Growing up on a farm gave Amanda experience with a variety of animals making it obvious that the veterinary field was her calling. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and animals. She also enjoys reading, crafts, and being outdoors.

Amanda is married and has 3 children: Weston, Montana, and Irelynn. They all live on a small hobby farm with their animals, which consist of 5 dogs: Toodles, Beckett, Ziva, Maverick, and Goose; 5 cats: Jaded, Emerald, Bob, International, and Runt; a rabbit: Sir Bounce-A-Lot; a turtle: Tucker; 2 axolotls: Kraken and Medusa; a donkey: Smokey; 2 pot-bellied pigs: Ethel and Pickles; 2 cows: Frank and Nancy; 3 goats and 10 chickens.

Becky

Head Veterinary Receptionist

Becky is our Head Veterinary Receptionist. She has been with McClure Veterinary Clinic since July 2019. Becky is an Air Force brat who spent 20 years in Florida before moving to Springfield in 2017. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2011 and enjoys meeting new clients and their pets. When not at work, she enjoys reading, baking, painting, and going to the movies. Becky lives with her sister, niece, and four dogs, Daisy, Keva, Nannerz, and Mudbug.

Daisy, an American Bulldog, was adopted from the Humane Society in Florida. She is the sweetest girl, and loves everyone, but her farts are nuclear!

Keva, a Jack Russell Terrier, was also adopted from the Humane Society. She is a firm believer that attitude trumps size every time and keeps all the other dogs in line.

Nannerz is a lab mix who loves to hang out in the yard, making sure the squirrels don’t take over. Her favorite thing in the world is food and she will not let you forget when it is meal time.

Mudbug is a Great Dane mix from Rescue One. He loves walkies and playing with Daisy (the butt swing is his signature move), but lives in fear of the Kevanator!

Lindsey

Veterinary Receptionist

Lindsey is one of our friendly Veterinary Receptionists. She has been with McClure Veterinary Clinic since May 2020. Lindsey has enjoyed working with animals for the past 10 years. She has 2 fur babies: Sapphira and Arrow, and she loves coming home to snuggle every day. While animals have always been a passion of Lindsey’s, some of her other interests include reading, music, and the outdoors.

Tyra

Tyra is one of our friendly technicians. She has been with McClure Veterinary Clinic since April 2024. Tyra has been working with animals for over 20 years.

Tyra is married with 2 kids. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves the outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, & horse back riding.
