Meet the Veterinarians Caring for Ozark Pets
Dr. Meda Bacon (formerly Dr. McClure) grew up in southwest Missouri. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences and Behavior from Missouri State University, received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University and completed her clinical year at Colorado State University. After several years in mixed animal practice, she founded Greener Pastures, an in-home end-of-life service, which later grew into McClure Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Michael Opsomer, known to clients as Dr. Mike, is our part-time associate veterinarian. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has spent more than two decades in small animal medicine and surgery.
They are supported by an experienced team of technicians and receptionists, including our head technician, Beth, who is certified in ultrasound and echocardiography and has been with McClure since the day we opened. Meet our veterinarians or meet the whole team.
